I estimate the half-life of jra name checks to be 2 weeks. After a month they would down to 25%. After 2 months 6%, und so weiter.

I don't feel the need to answer every post that mentions my name. I'm not sure why you feel the opposite but if I were you, I wouldn't bother. It will only stop when you stop replying to every post that mentions you. I think this might have been said before.

if no one mentions you at all for a few days, you will pick a random post that has nothing to do with you and bait the poster to get a reaction

your excuse for doing that is the poster is 'fair game' because they had a go at you first in the distant past
