Yeah. I booked through Trainline both ways, but separately as wasn’t sure when I was returning..... apparently some journeys don’t give the option of etickets though..... i’ll know next time

Best to use the National Rail app.

National Rail doesn't sell tickets, but apparently directs you to the relevant TOC for the journey you intend to make.

We just use small amounts of bread as there are now just two of us here. So we keep some bread in the freezer and then take out a few slices at a time and put them in a sealed bag in the fridge.

Is bread really really expensive where you are?

It may be a case of cutting down on food waste which we as a nation should be ashamed of.

Just buy or bake fresh bread, WTF is wrong with you?

And in the summer it will have gone off before you can eat it all if you don't put it in the fridge or freeze it.

Bread has never gone off - nor do we freeze it. But thanks for the tip.

Oh, we do use a bread bag for storage perhaps that's why.

The cooler the bread the quicker it stales.

You’re best either keeping it at room temp wrapped in plastic, or freezing it if you need it to last longer. You can reverse a bit of stealing by reheating too, as long as it has been wrapped.
