All this sweaty and mouldy bread people seem to have - something to do with humidity? Do you not have dehumidifiers in your homes?

I suspect that most people store their bread - in whatever manner - in their kitchen. Kitchens (like bathrooms) are often warm and humid, compared to other rooms in the house. It's not that hard to understand, is it?

I was trolled once for saying we keep Ketchup pouch in the fridge...

I don't know if this helps. But in my household,bag of sliced bag is kept in the microwave with that clip thingi.

Ketchup is best kept in the fridge because it can be infected with pathogens.
