The chips didn't turn out too badly, I'll blanch and dry them next time before drenching them in oil and salt

They were actually quite nice but need more shaking. I think that blanching, drying, salting and oiling them will work better. The porky chop underneath my five a day was lovely

I peeled and chopped up a jacket spud (nice and floury), rinsed the chips and dried them, bunged in some olive oil and salt and tossed them about for a bit before putting them in the air fryer for twenty two minutes. I'd add an extra five and two more shakes if cooking from a basic spud.

Instead of doing productive things I'm going to devote my week of AL to creating the perfect air fried chip, FML... :shake head:

Use FROZEN chips, 1 spoonful of oil and that's it.

I threw my airfryer out years ago - they suck at making good chips.

I just did some local buthcher's sausages in the new air fryer - I won't bother grilling or frying them again, delish. I think I'll try a piece of steak as Nivarna does (I think it was her), this new one is so much better than the Morphy Richards' jobby I just threw out.

I LOVE pork sausages, premium range. Gotta be plain ones - adding leeks or apples or whatever spoils it totally.
