You sound surprised :dunno: . I'm not. Humans are capable of virtually anything bad. It was only a matter of time before something like this happened.

I have always questioned the ease of bringing this country and the services in it, to it's knees. These situations highlight just how vulnerable we are now. How vulnerable we are the World over really. That the days of bombs, and such are old hat. As is shown a drone can bring our airports to a stand still, and our armies and Police on high alert. It only takes Isis or even twats like this idiot to carry out these stunts, and with all the high alerts and services focused on these situations, It leaves 'a way in' and chinks in our defences. We're fucked! We can't watch everything everywhere. Drones can carry anything and get anywhere. We can't!

The human race is fucked. And a lot of it boils down to religion and over population.

doesn't that tell You something about why it is claimed Our enemy is and who Our enemy actually is? Do you blame the Earth for the problems of humanity jra? seek out the negative You miss the wonders! Our mind are only capable of one thought at a time. change Your Thinking, change the World. the ignorant are to lazy to be a significant problem. what is the problem is to much stuff! do You know how many patents there are for clothes pegs? and a whole bunch of stuff only designed to keep the price of oil and other commodities price high.
do you know who is responsible for these issues? You. You are society, You are the People. and trying to solve the modern problems with old mentality can't work. Using the ancestral mind to resolve Our social issues will work. and up to a point with modern thinking. such outdated thinking it isn't even that old starting from the time of the industrial revolution. People only needed to go to a city to sell their wears or seeks refuge from adverse climatic conditions or war. You really need to stop fighting Your Selves. You are blessed with life, as many other beings across Our realm are. It is truly quite spectacular when You leave all that nonsense behind, a breath of fresh air, and peace of mind.

Look in the mirror and give Your Self a smile. actually look at YourSelf and appreciate what unique and spectacular abilities You do have. and how they can be exponentially enanced upon.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you about the human race, but I can't, not only from personal experience but from what one sees going on around the world every day. I just can't block all of that out and pretend it is isn't happening, as in being delusional. We as a species are on a path to self destruction and it may already be too late to press the stop button. The other thing being is we're going to take down a lot of other species with us on the way, which is a shame. This is what happens when the balance of nature is upset.

BIB. It's the other way around. Earth isn't the problem. The human species is the problem. The Earth will be here long after we've gone.

have faith, consider Your Self fortunate there was no big button I could press when I was fifteen. I have a hard time dealing with My emotions. I do know withing MySelf one Person, two, ten a million wouldn't phase me. I have been considering lately, why would God need to turn away fora time? for the exact same reasons We do. It hurts!

Join in for once in your life, you might find you enjoy it.

I did enjoy Christmas as a kid when you were lied to that Santa Claus exists.

I'm not attempting to be festive. :brickwall:

When you get older, the novelty of Christmas wears off.

I don't have children (so no need to lie to them about a fictional character).

I'm an atheist (so don't believe in religion occasions/festivals anyway).

It's a PITA having and feeling obliged to send Christmas cards to people you rarely meet during the year, let alone at Christmas (plus it costs a fortune in posting).

It's not so much a 'family'/religious event these days, more a spending orgy, keeping up with the Jones's (my present is considerably more expensive than yours, so leads to jealousy).

Many 'family' members don't like each other anyway, but feel obliged to see each other at Christmas.

People get fed up with the constant bombardment by Christmas adverts.

Very little public transport (if any) is running on Christmas and Boxing Day etc., so without a car you're screwed in many instances.

But you crack on, have a good time, whatever floats your boat. For me, I'll be glad when it's all over.

Still, while they're all having a miserable time you'll be having Christmas dinner cooked for you by a top class chef, so not too bad.

:smilin:

Indeed. I haven't got a problem with people enjoying Christmas with 'all' ( ) the family, but some people have other plans or are not that bothered about it, including ironically (some might say) people of other religions.

I try to get my festive arguments out of the way before the big day.
You know it’s going to happen anyway so a blow out beforehand is preferable.

Fucking hell jra, lighten up for once in your life.

There's no need for a full blown analysis of Christmas, just be a bit silly and have some fun. :holly:

You're a long time dead, be serious and miserable then.
