Apparently under Bangladeshi law, you are not a citizen simply because your mother was.

Someone should update the bangladeshi citizenship act then because it appears to disagree and considering anais was quoting from the decision about the other jihadi bride which was citing the same act then it seems a little curious that it doesn't apply when the people concerned were mostly in agreement about the implications of it.
