Doesn't matter it's still personally identifiable information that is gathered for specific purposes and you shouldn't be making it public.

nobody signed up to anything, she also isn't here to discuss it, so I suggest if anyone wants talk about it they wait for her

Some can't do Hollys hours ... doesn't matter when she logs on she can reply. .that's what the boards are for, not like we wait for members to log in for a reply :gigglesnshit:

"There will be circumstances where it may be difficult to determine whether data is personal data. If this is the case, as a matter of good practice, you should treat the information with care, ensure that you have a clear reason for processing the data and, in particular, ensure you hold and dispose of it securely."

IPs gone? Good.

The GDPR is there to stop spam. I didn't catch the IP itself, was it a proxy or would it lead straight up your garden path?

It's to protect the misuse or mishandling of your personal information (which they expanded to include IP's). If people are guest posting to stir up shit then just IP ban them instead of approving their posts and then posting their IP's.

Do you want to moderate this tide of shit?

Shut your fucking opening.

The Admin involved is in NZ and subsequently has no idea about GDPR. Your whinging has been addressed and you are free to shut the fuck up about it now.

Convo over.

No but i wouldn't allow guest posting and if i had a forum i wouldn't think posting IP addresses of people who use it by my moderators was a good idea.

Shut up or go to bed early, it's been dealt with.

Hope you're not in too much pain.

Meh, there's other pointless stuff but malicious compliance is a thing that I probably won't use. I can spot passive aggressiveness a mile away and I keep a diary...
