It isn't his shitshow, and parliament is shut.

He will spend four days in Ghana including in a meeting with President Nana Akufo-Addo.

They are likely to discuss post-Brexit bi-lateral trade, reforms in the Commonwealth and UN and the role of the African Union and US forces in Africa.

While in Ghana, Corbyn will also meet leaders of the opposition National Democratic Congress which is a member of Socialist International.

It's called actually doing something.

What is the potential trade with Ghana?

You would have to ask them - I know we buy cocoa from them...

Which is processed in the Netherlands and Germany. We do not process it ourselves.

Now there's an Idea :smilin:

They serve 28 individual countries with cocoa products at zero tariffs, doing the same as individual countries would make chocolate prohibitively expensive. Interestingly the main products such as cocoa butter and cocoa syrup are JIT products and have to be delivered within a time limit at and a certain temperature.

How is it transported at the minute and what frequency?

Just in time suggests that it's needed as and when. It's transported by road transport due to the weight and heat of the stuff.

I'm no expert, I simply read an article about it this morning so don't expect specifics.

OK, it's just that I read a lot of posts claiming all sorts but never specifics.

Maybe we shouldn't have sold our confectionery manufacturers to big US corporates? Like so much other stuff, including essential infrastructure and services. :dunno:

I'm not sure who Stooo is referring to but imagine it was cadburys? It's why I asked how it was done now and how often to get an idea of the potential scale of the issue.

I'm not referring to anyone but Spaffer made a big thing about Mars bars recently, the fact that our cocoa ingredients are landed from Rotterdam and used within hours of production merely points out his lie or lack of information.

I think what's really important right now is this government under Boris with his team of leave as soon as possible team are the ones proving the lie regarding remainers spreading unfounded fears about food medicine etc shortages as it is these very top Brexiters who are having us spend billions on preparing for the calamities.
Billions for businesses adversely affected by Brexit.
Emergency money and plans for medicines and food .... that's coming from this Brexit loaded government not the remainers.
