phone providers

Postby Creamola Foam » Tue Sep 30, 2014 10:59 am

I am about to change my phone. Having mostly had samsung I will probably stick with it. But what is puzzling me and slightly annoying me right now is I cannot get the new LG phone which i really like from my current network. But i can if i go to carphone wharehouse and stay on the same network. Also my current provider will give me the samsung for 30 quid on any plan BUT again i can go to carphone wharehouse and get it free on the same plan!!! Why!

Buy the phone unlocked online and go to a SIM only contract. I did this earlier on in the year and it saves me £10 a month , I have unlimited calls and texts and twice the internet for £13 plus the contract is only 12 months. My old plan was quoted at £8 a month.

It is maddening when the deals the providers do aren't as good as say CW who add a tablet etc to the same deal. Where I live most of the land is owned by Dulwich Estates (College) and they will not allow any masts to be erected on their property or land. Consequently the signal vanishes... :thud:
