Thanks Leggo but I have a vested interest towards type one, my son has had it for the last fifteen years and the subject is dear to my heart.

For the ten years shaved off of his life expectancy he's probably gained another three thanks to good management and hygiene. Every time that you break your skin you risk an infection.

Sorry to hear that, but happy he has a father such as yourself... Hopefully this treatment will let him gain those 7 years lost and many more.
