Windows 10

UFOs, new tech, it all goes in here. Have you tried switching it off and back on ?

Windows 10

Looks like Microsoft is again stealing its "ideas" from the Mac OS yet again. WOW in Windows 10 you can now have different desktops, something the Macs have had for years. There are also rumours that Microsoft is ditching Internet Explorer, good idea since most sensible people only use it for updating.

The biggest profit making company in the world with only 10% of the marketshare, Apple people amuse me

Seriously Keith, Apple needs to look over it's shoulder at an actual tech company that is any danger to Microsoft because this stuff looks actually cool:

Can almost set the clock to my 4.15 am get up for a pee and a brew now.
Linux have always had a choice of desktops.
Lost count of how many I can have and I think you'll find it's always been like that.
Linux Mint is now considered by many in the industry to be the best O.S available ... not the best Linux O.S of which there are many but simply the best you can get.
Apple has to be the worst thing ever for your average home user ... crap.

Back to bed goodnight.
OK good morning.

The new Windows hologram feature looks awesome. The games industry will have a ball with that.

Gesture and voice control are the natural evolutions in computing, account security verified by iris scan and voice recognition and true 3D environments to interact with. Moore's law can suck a dick and you can keep your hoverboard.

I installed W10 onto a four year old Thinkpad today with no issues at all, I'm doing an install on my son's old virus ridden laptop right now. Let's see how good it will be on frankly rubbish hardware (yes, I bought it for him).

Yeah, wifi works fine on the Thinky, all of the drivers work in this build of 10. My son's is an emachine/Bush/Argos fat bastard with decent hardware specs and bloated to fuck with pre installed shit and adware. It ran W7 so was going to have a free update when the full release went live anyway. 10 is pretty good, bung it on a spare machine.

Can't you have different desktops on windows depending on who logged in, multi accounts on a windows device?? Nothing new there, MS has had that ability for years.....

has anyone seen mincrosoft edge? it's the new windows 10 brower. it looks fancy but i'm concerend because there is a reading view that removes formatting so webpages are just the text - nothing else. i'm concerned that it will affect advertising revenue. does anyone know if there will be a way to stop this? i use this hosting service: http://www.1and1.com/hosting if anyone knows anything about this i'd really appreciate. cheers!
