There are so many different chargers, would it not be a good idea to have one charger which suits many devices.
I believe Apple do a different cable each time they bring something out to make us spend more money,
My last MacBook had a different charger end piece.

I got this one from Western Electric for an extension for the coffee table. 5v on both USB sockets rather than halving it like the Screwfix one does. Similar price.

I have one of these in my flat, got all excited, the usb ports don't bloody work
