He must be in a good position to become Labour Leader and the Next Prime Minister in ten or 15 years time, assuming Starmer will be PM for at least two terms. Not sure how old Khan is but if he has ambitions of being PM he can't leave it too long?

Yes. He won because he's been a thoroughly decent and inclusive mayor who went against the Labour hierachy over Gaza and he increased his majority as well.
First time that i've voted Labour in a long time and the last for another four years.

It's well past time but they effectively have a TV channel, GBeebies, and two newspapers, The Daily Mail and The Daily Express, who are effectively daily propaganda outlets for them.

In terms of electoral importance The Greens and The Lib Dems can both creditably claim equal time but they don't have a corporate media and billionaire cadre in their corner.
