I love love love my dishwasher.

Took me years to actually get one, my sister was always pushing me to buy one but, I just didn't "get it"
Its a godsend. everything goes in there except my fry pans and wok. all the parts of my cooker, ornaments , garden pots ( I do a clean run after those) if its washable, it goes in..
Why did I resist for so long

I love mine too, that's why I married him!

I don't really think they are super necessary. I like washing things by hand. I think just as soon as you finish and meal or drink, wash it and put it away. It's pretty simple and saves a lot of water and energy.
