Kidney beans, brown rice and tomato pasta sauce. Sounds dull but it was actually nice. I like it with coconut milk or coconut cream as well (without the tomato sauce). Spring onions and thyme go well with it too if you're having it with coconut.

Mash, extra mature cheddar cheese, onions, mustard and herbs mixed together and roasted in the oven for my tea later.

I didn't know that you can roast mash. Have you had this before? Sounds nice though. I love cheesy potato.

What I mean is the mash is cooked then mixed with the cheese etc left to crisp in the oven for a bit.

Sounds good. Hope you enjoy it. I've got a few Jamie Oliver cookbooks and should use them more. He does a great cheese toasty, Jamie style. :cuppaT:

I had Chinese chicken curry and egg fried rice in the middle of the night followed by tiramisu and coffee. My sleeping pattern is way out. It was nice though. Then this morning I've had expensive chocolate chip cookies with a cup of tea. Yum. Later on today I'll have chicken and mushroom pie made with potato instead of pastry. Then more tiramisu. I'm going to have some toast and blackcurrant jam and coffee in a bit. Now it's Hollyoaks time, the repeat, as I missed the Friday episode. :canny: Have to go out later so need to stay awake. It's Hoooollllyyyoakkss!!! :cuppaT:
