He got the Last Rites today but he is like Lazarus. It has happened so many times. He has been ill for a long time but he always seems to rally round.

He was 14 when I was born and he loved me so much and he still does. He met my Aunty when he was 18 and she was 16 and I was 4. They both loved me completely and my Aunty used to take me to night school with her and even to work!

They had two girls and I did the same with them. I took them everywhere with me. They are still my two best girls. They were my Bridesmaids. The youngest is my God Daughter. I was 14 when she was born funnily enough.

They are both married now with girls of their own who are their mothers doubles!

This is it now though.

I am going to miss him more than I can say.

He is a wonderful man.

It's like they say Claire, there are only two things certain in life, death and taxes - they are both debts which have to be paid eventually by everyone.

Always be grateful for knowing real love, it's a very rare thing and keep those happier times close to your heart and remember, no-one can ever take them away.

Hope his passing is peaceful, best wishes to you and your family. :thumbsup:

I'm sorry Claire. I know how much he means to you. I could tell that, when you mentioned him a few weeks ago on the phone.
