One needs to voluntarily control ones diet for starters and not wholly rely on prescribed medicine.

Being extremely fat is a no no.

Mr Starbold I was slim when I was diagnosed.
Never had a sweet tooth.
Never did crisps sweets fizzy drinks.

Oh, and don't eat eggs from Belgium, they've been found to contain an insecticide called fipronil. The FSA says:

"Our risk assessment, based on all the information available, indicates that as part of a normal healthy diet this low level of potential exposure is unlikely to be a risk to public health and there is no need for consumers to be concerned."

So definitely don't eat eggs from Belgium.

Have a look ..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29629761

Home grown eggs here. Still have a couple of chickens.

Thanks Jack.

Lucky you with the chickens - I've made sure our eggs are local at least.

Seems I have to be logged in to contact admin .....

I just got this weird email at the email .............................

Hi!

I came across your page (http://thesleepingdogs.net/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=40122) and noticed you had shared some fitness resources.

I recently published a data-backed study that details the usage of Fitness and Food related posts on instagram.

You can check it out here: http://fitnessgoals.com/guide/ultimate-guide-fitness/

It has tons of interesting data, graphs and infographics, and I think it would be a great addition to your site that your audience would also find valuable.

In return, I can share your page with our huge social media following. Let me know if you're interested :)

Keep up the great work!

I have T2 diabetes, and although my blood sugars are down below the accepted lower levels, my cholesterol is OK, my blood pressure is OK, it's my weight that is the problem.

Due to two very arthritic knees, and the situation with him indoors, I find it very hard to exercise, but I am trying to get my weight down. I have started a food diary, I will weigh myself tomorrow, and then track my carb consumption. I will set an initial ceiling of 70 grams per day, and try to reduce it to 50, whilst trying to walk a little way every morning.
