Good idea. I'm interested, IRL I've known very few Scottish people. It might help though if I hear a Scottish person being interviewed on TV. :laughing:

We had a voice thread on here a few years ago and most of us posted a clip of our voices.

I come from just outside Glasgow and my accent is very broad and a lot of folk couldn't understand, what i was saying.

Someone said "I had a voice you wouldn't want to meet on a dark night.

With a wee bit of practice, you'll be sounding like that.

Scunnered = sickened.

I've scunnered myself eating all those chocolates.

Scunner.

Annoying/someone you dislike.

That wean next door is a wee scunner.
