I think they look really nice, refreshing.
Look at my photo and point out why you do not like them

I went to an auction and gambled on 2 x 56 lbs of poor quality/softish daffodil bulbs.
I got them home and had a closer look, they were not as bad as described by the auctioneer, £4, a bargain really.
I left them at the road entrance to the property to put in when workmen had finished, the next thing I know is the workman had just scattered them around both sides of the gates roadside where they should have gone anyway but I would have placed them neater., I was concerned.
We kept said workman in tea & biskitz for two days, they did some extra work for me as well so I gave them a sparrow.
Anyway, the daffs are coming up fantastic, I am really pleased, just hope they are not blind.

Your missus has good taste, but you’re just a cultivated snob!

Daffs and yellow tulips do not equal good taste - fortunately they've drooped to death and been thrown out (the tulips, not the missus).
