Planing antique wooden products is a no no as they now brand new products and all history and antique value has now gone.
No one would plane antique furniture.
No one with any experience of buying and sell church pews would dream of it.
There is no reason whatsoever you could give anyone for such behaviour so I'm calling bullshitt.
Utter bulhit.
But go on let's hear it.

I have bought 2 lots BLIND, Rolly, still in the red.

Woodworm or varnish damage ... oh you wouldn't know.

What I do know Rolly is how to turn a £1 coin into a £10 note and is is not by magic.

Buy cheap and sell cheap, Rolly

Woodworm is not a prob Rolly, they would be put through the kindling machine at a push

So you'd have some cheap antique firewood for sale :pmsl:
You're full of shit.
There's a market for pews pitch pine or oak.
Even slightly damaged you're looking at anything from two hundred quid to a thousand quid depending on different factors but nope ... you'll shove them through a kindling machine to get 50p a bag for firewood.
What a complete fraud you are.

The first thing I'd be doing is contacting a shipper who would snap them up for sale on the global market especially America.
There's also a ready domestic market.
If you have spent your life in and out of sales rooms of course you'd know all this and this is what your fourth set of church pews .... you'd know all this off the top of your thick head.

Welsh ones have a finish that dealers are looking for called calle craquelure ... a crazed varnish finish.
No one is sure how this aging happens other than most churches and chapels in Wales were freezing as they rarely had heating.

I already have outlets for the finished planed and sized wood, Rolly.

I do not pay for transport or driver.

All it costs me is 2 days lump pay

If ya can make a few quid without touching merchandise then do so, don't complicate things, by Monday night all this will be sold.

Maybe ya would like to help me count my profit.

I will keep you informed so you will not feel left out. lol
