I have just given up on a book and I dont do that very often. It was The Cedar Cage by Robert Greenwood. I just could NOT get in to it.

I have started on an Angela Marsons book. So far so good.

Very happy as have three brand new, sweet smelling books.

Jane Harper - Force of Nature. Follow up to The Dry

Michael Robotham - The Secrets She Keeps. Very good writer

And

Joy Ellis - Crime on the Fens. Not read her before but she's had good reviews and there are a few books in the series.

Tonight I will be starting Last Seen by Lucy Clarke.

The Angela Marsons book was called Evil Games and was very good.

Numbers one and two not as good as usual, sadly. Still not bad though.

Three - A decent start to a series.

Am now reading All the Light we Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It's sad and hopeful and beautifully moving.

I've been enjoying the John Marrs books

The One
The Good Samaritan

enjoyed both immensely

just started When You Disappeared

they stand alone so no need to read them in publication date order

I am going to read the Mystery Man series by Colin Bateman, I read the first one years ago and never got round to reading the rest. It was very funny from what I remember, totally ridiculous.

I just read those and really enjoyed them too. I think The One was my favourite

Ive just finished Linwood Barclays new one, “A Noise Downstairs”.

God I was disappointed. I love Barclay but this book just frustrated me.

I'm on the last chapter of The Good Samaritan. Brilliant idea for a book and very well written but relentlessly desolate. Couldn't stop reading though.
