I've just finished reading "Watching Edie" by Camilla Way and it was good, but I felt the ending was rather poor.

I would have preferred knowing the people responsible had been punished, instead of just assuming that's what happened.

I was watching an interview with Val McDermid and she mentioned the time she read "The Cuckoo's Calling" by Robert Galbraith and wanted him on her book show.

However his agent said Robert was on holiday and Val said he can come on the programme after his holiday.

She was told Robert was busy then as well and she thought that was strange as most new author's like publicity.

It transpired a few weeks later that Robert Galbraith was a pseudonym of J.K. Rowling's.

I've just finished reading this book and it was excellent.

There was a twist at the end, which will leave you breathless.

This is the second book by Tammy Cohen i've read "When She Was Bad" was the other one and it was another cracker.

She's a very good author and if you like thrillers with a twist, you should read them.

I have seen Tammy Cohen recommended on Amazon a lot and wondered whether to try her. What would you recommend as a first one to read?

I've ordered a copy of "The Woman In White" which many reckon is the first thriller book to ever be released.

In was first published in 1859 and was written by Wilkie Collins.

It's coming from America so it will be several weeks until it arrives.

I'll let you know what a think about it.

This is a good bargain for anyone who likes Agatha Christie and Miss Marple.

Four stories in an omnibus book and you can buy each book on Amazon for one pence

This book really gets under your skin and it's a good thriller but the ending will stay with you for a while.

I'm going to read this book next.

It costs around £6 to buy on Amazon used, but it only costs £4 if you have Prime.

I don't have Prime, but my brother has and he's ordered it for me after i asked him nicely.

I've just finished reading the Girlfriend and it was excellent.

Daniel meets a girl and falls head over heels for her, however his mum thinks she's only interested in his money.

The girlfriend denies this and things become strained.

One of them tells a terrible lie and it changes everything.

It was a good ending, someone needed to get their comeuppance and they did.

I started reading this book because i'd enjoyed "The Wicked Girls" by Alex Marwood so much.

However i gave up after a 100 pages, it was tripe and i didn't care for any of the people living in this bedsit.

I've started reading this book now and i'm enjoying it.

Every morning Christine wakes up with no memory of what happened the day before.

She keeps everything written down in a journal to try and help her and has to rely on her husband Ben for information about her past.

However one of the entries in her journal says "Don't trust Ben"

The Woman In White arrived today and at a glance it's going to take me about ten years to read it.

More than 500 hundred pages and it's in tiny wee print.

Where does one start?

Well Susan was sent to a psychiatric hospital for smothering her three month old baby and is released four years later.

On her release she receives a photo of a four year old boy with "Dylan" on the back and sets off to discover what happened to her son.

To be perfectly honest, the whole book is completely far-fetched.

Her son isn't dead, his death was faked by using a dead baby to take his place.

(I mean everyone keeps a dead baby handy for emergencies don't they?

Doctors often run straight into hospitals and perform examinations and then post mortems without anyone asking questions.

Having someone's ex-husband called Mark, Billy, Shakes and Shakespeare always makes for easy reading.

I could go on..

Sorry Bella, I didn't see this.

You can read them in any order, but "First One Missing" is my favourite of hers so far.
