Next he'll get an email from a Nigerian Princess who needs to transfer $15 millions to the UK and she would share it with him if he would send $1000 to get the transfer started.

Look if you don't believe me just Google fake tax refund emails.

Hmm, the linked page is definitely Gov.UK though.

Says this: Your are entitled to claim your tax refund of £352 through HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) online tax claim form.

You must be a registered tax payer to proceed with this application.

To successfully complete this application, following are the documents you must keep handy:

National I.D.

Any document which proves your residence.

Debit/Credit card details.

It will hardly take 15 minutes to complete a tax claim form. If you satisfies all the prerequisites successfully then please click on "Start now" button below to proceed.

hmrc would send you a rebate.

But always check the address bar, failing that google the sight directly and then try follow links independent of email.

Often there is a page not found.

Then give details to fraud department.

Though, i consider the political state liable, it is regulatory oppression that extorts revenue from the people resulting in these things happening... Can't buy or sell anything without the fascist dictatorships beady eyes on every pound.

It could easily be stopped if it didn't suit the agenda of implied consent resulting in greater regulatory powers to despots.

is this emails ? just spam them and you wont get anymore. I always have a quick scroll through emails, never open them, then junk the shite.
I don't buy a license , most Scots dont. :snooty: and we get all sorts of letter styles trying to trick us, one came looking like the postman tried to deliver a package, there was nothing on the card to suggest what it was, ripped the card open and its the TV license chancers *get in the sea*

I set them a letter saying they are required to pay a troy ounce of silver for storage fees for all the letters they have sent. I haven't opened one in over a decade and have quite a pile of them now...

Shortly after that they stopped printing my name on the letters.

It was a decade ago they phoned the police because i wouldn't let them in. I said i have a tv but why would i watch the crap on bbc, that was after i got a letter from the procurator fiscal. Two individuals impersonating officers threatened me with arrest if i didn't pay £70. I had plenty of pennies and twos, didn't know at the time they should have taken them. But they drove me to the bank to change them
