Reminds me of Frank Spencer at his RAF re-union. Went every year but nobody remembered him. :leer:

Last one I went to a Porsche raced into the car park scattering shingle everywhere where we were all assembled. Everybody guessed who it was without even seeing him. A really tiny little lad at school but very big headed. Still the same.

The majority of people were easily recognisable and really open and friendly.

Last school reunion I went to, the boy I'd always fancied had got fat and bald, two of my classmates had passed away, and the rest were just bragging about their property, holiday homes, private schools for their incredibly gifted and talented children and so on...

I have and it was a bit bizarre, it was a 30 year one and all my ex-classmates turned up with the same hairstyles they had in school but obviously much older faces. Like being in a time warp.

I always expect people I knew to look the same 30 years later. They never do though.

So the 50th anniversary meet is going ahead on 16th Oct, for lads who started in 1971 and left in either 1976 or 1978. No women allowed. I have politely declined. Train fare, hotel one night, buffet. Sod that for people I never like then and am unlikely to care for now. He reckons out of a 120 intake that year he's got 80 going. Sounds a lot to me, maybe half as many. :leer: :leer:
