Suddenly the air is filled with the sound of waves splashing and the aroma of Morecambe cockles in vinegar.

Some ripe avocado and a crusty cob (again) would be an excellent accompaniment to that lot.
For afters ---- a small dollop of carte dor, with a butterscotch drizzle, pretty please. :twirl:

Can't manage dessert after that lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can.
Cos I'd never touch the crab, lobster or oysters - not keen on those, (but i love prawns, cockles, salmon).
Look, when STRESSED a girl needs DESSERTS - now spell those two words backwards to discover the relationship between them! :canny:

Yeah, you can't beat a well done roasted pork with crackling, I bought one today and we will have it on the weekend with baby roasted spuds and mixed veges, lets hope it turns out like that pic

Leg is quite nice but I love a bit of shoulder, dead fatty and delicious. Crackling is a must.

Going thru a cheese obsession phase. I like all types, even - whisper it gently - the processed stuff. :doomed:
I like lil red Babybels too.
Anyone else likes the stuff? :leer:

Did not have a proper dinner today.

I had 6 pigeon breasts simmered in milk and Modena balsamic vinegar, when they are almost cooked I tip some of the water away and add a whopping chunk of BUTTER, simmer for 5/10 mins on a very low heat, add a shake of garlic salt, get the sauce to your own liking.

I then spoon it on to 3 toasted slices of Hovis Nimble bread, sprinkle with Pecorino RomanoCheese

It is not a filling meal but so tasty.

Thin slices of cold cucumber are ace as a side.

They like to change the names of their products - and on this occasion they came up with a funkier name, which is unusual. They usually settle for a duller name.

Aw I never knew they removed the lemon ones. I've not had them for years... too sweet.
These confectionery firms often remove a colour or flavour at some stage. Same with M&M's.
You're right, they are too unhealthily sweet for grown ups tbf.

i think craft or some other food conglomerate bought them out? That is often the reason for name changes.

I bought some turkeys over the phone today which did mot sell over Christmas, I could not get there to see them.
Anyway, some are in cld storage and some big live bugguz in a barn until easter
Bought them very cheap.

I think the bigger ones were shunned this year as people did not have very big family gatherings

That's a long time, I've had a look around to see if I could source some for you but only the seeds can be found. You could try growing your own ?
