Kippers appreciation thread.

Who besides me loves kippers then? I adore them and have them at least once a week for brunch. Boil in the bag with a knob of butter. :yess:

I have smoked mackerel too and smoked haddock.

I actually made a pasta not that long ago using spaghetti. A can of mackerel, a big spoon full of capers and parmesan cheese. It was delicious. Have not tried kippers yet.
I just heated up the mackerel together with the capers in a fry pan, mixed it up with the spaghetti and topped it with the parmesan cheese. It was something I just threw together and it turned out really nice. Had some lettuce left, so served that as a salad side dish. I wasn't sure how it will turn out, but it really was good. I will make it again. I suppose one can add things to it.

Am settled on the Tesco kippers in the bag with a knob of butter. Seems nicer than others. Have them once a week.
