Darcey is the only Scottish finalist in this years PDSA Animal Survival Competition.

Two year old Darcey sustained a shattered femur, fractures to her legs and pelvis and suffered internal bleeding, when she fell down a Dam in the Highlands in July.

Darcey faces competition from five English finalists.

Those include Arthur the Cat from Suffolk who dragged himself home after being caught in an illegal animal trap.

I had a Great Dane. If you could ever figure out how to attach a feather duster to their tail, you would never have to dust any of the tables.

Lovely dogs Great Danes, gentle giants.

There's a Newfoundland in my town, he's like a wee horse.

Lovely temperament, he let's everyone pat him.

Afia the baby Gorilla couldn't be reared by her mum, because her mum was too ill to look after her when she was born.

She was reared by keepers at Bristol Zoo instead and now is getting plenty of cuddles off her foster mum Romina.

They should've eaten the damn thing then and be done with it...

Meet Lloyd.

Lloyd weighs seven and a half stone and he's fronting the Scottish SPCA campaign about the danger over over-feeding your pets.

You can keep up to date with Lloyd's progress on Facebook.

A cat who hadn't been brushed in years, was found with matted "Dreadlocks"

Image

Hidey's 82 year old owner was suffering from Alzheimers and was only discovered when a distant relative went to check on Hidey after hearing the man had been moved to a nursing home.

Hidey has had a haircut and has been adopted by Hidey's previous owners relative.

Reminds me of my fat neighbors and their fat dogs that never get any exercise. They have 2 dogs and 5 cats and put zero effort into them while claiming they love animals.

Overfeeding pets is just as cruel as underfeeding them, they need a balanced diet and regular exercise.

If my dog had his way, he'd eat all day.

Do your neighbours feed their dogs "Human food" the only food of mine Jack gets is a crust off my toast.

He doesn't get sweets or biscuits etc.
