Sigh. I noticed because I was on my profile page to look at the discussions section. I wasn't checking reactions specifically, it was noticable that it was around 300 odd more. I didn't check them the night before.

Can't you at least pretend you checked them? That way guests can keep having a pop at you. Come on, be a sport!

Every one has a peek, I don't care who you are. Post in a McCann thread with anything other than "they did it!!" and you'll find your dislikes sky rocket, mine went from 44 disagrees to 301 over night after the last McCann thread. I posted 4 times in total, and had a total of 22 downvotes, next day log in, 301. Went and locked at the locked thread and the amount of dislikes on my post hadn't changed, so some of those nutjobs are going to those posters and down voting anything they can find on them. Not just that but there must be a group of them doing it, one person couldn't do that on their own unless they were up all night.

I would agree usually, but in this case she (minnie) was referring to the influx of Anti McCann Theorists who only joined ds so they could post their bizzare bollocks.

It's still embarrassing, it doesn't matter what people are posting about calling then noobs is well cringey.

I've been reading the recent stuff, regarding 'disagrees'. Let's break it down.

It has been said, people who claim they don't care about 'disagrees' are annoying, and those who pretend they're above it all are also, annoying. So I wonder, who the hell isn't annoying then?

Those who never ever talk about 'disagrees'? Those who really don't care? Lets address the former, yep it's safe to say those who never talk about it, probably don't care. As for the latter, on most occasions trying to judge which FMs 'care', is purely subjective, and a matter of personal opinion. Unless a FM blatantly does care, Gilbertoo, for example.

The poster going on at Doomlord2 sounds obsessed about it all, imo, a prime example of pretending not to care. Haha. Some people really do need to lay-off with the deflecting.

And, surely those who search through old posts 'disagreeing' 300 times overnight, or similar, are the saddest FMs of all.

I actually think Jason Tosskins was totally right on this. For too long there's been posters on DS who think their shit don't stink and that they are 'popular'. If you speak up against one of them, their internet pals pile in like they are still in the playground. Minnie especially seems to believe her own hype going on about 'noobs' considering she's also a 'noob' compared to many herself.

The whining and whinging of Penny, Minnie, Sorcha Healey, Gilbertoo and others just shows them up for what they are- jumped up cliquey twats that believe their own hype and don't realise a lot of us lurkers think they just seem like self important waffling arse holes.

Although I wouldn't include all the same names as you mentioned, I agree. Being perceived as popular or well-liked online seems quite important to some posters. Of course it's nice when you go to the effort of making a funny that people give you a laugh reaction, but it shouldn't be the main reason for posting. It's not a competition.

It is absolutely a competition. Try to get as many sjws banned from their own forum before inevitably falling on own sword. Definate competition.

With regards to reactions - it seems I have an enemy! Someone has been back cataloguing my posts for disagrees. Odd behaviour.

I don't quite understand why someone would do that. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to react to a post that's months or years old and the poster is unlikely to even see it.

Everyone whining about it, like Keyser, Charlie1, Gilbertoo et al only has themselves to blame if they get more sad faces. Yes, the reaction buttons are childish and shit, but the funniest thing is the reactions themselves - particularly from those who claim not to care, or pretend they're above it all
