I'm not buying this attempt to make Planets out to be a hysterical female because she complained about someone harassing her. It's hardly the first time someone's complained about that person's behaviour, so rubbishing Planets isn't going to work.

The problem comes when posters try and make out falling out with people on forums or PM as something sinister or stalkerish. It's worrying how quickly people are to label others based on the sum of fuck all. It's no wonder people don't take real instances of stalking seriously or people are disbelieved when shit like this goes unchecked.

I also don't get how some seem to think certain posters on DS are beyond criticism an get so defensive. When you see what some members have put up with its fairly mild what has been said about Planets in comparison.

Maybe harassment is a better word to describe Keysers behaviour and we know he's done it to at least three women and there's probably been more and then you have the likes of Charlie who defends him to the hilt. Strange behaviour from a woman

I don't think it's strange behaviour that I defend him. I'm his friend, so of course I'm going to.

I would like to think that I'm an intelligent woman, who's able to distinguish if someone's spinning me a yarn or not.

The problem I have, is the persistent attacks towards him on events that happened months/years ago. I can only assume they're being dragged up to cause hurt, knowing that Keyser is going to take the bait.

Any rebut Keyser has, is in response to unprovoked attacks towards him.

If you're going to call someone a racist when they're not (and I know he's not) don't be surprised if they retaliate.

There's only a couple of what I'd would consider an extreme feminist on DS, and faceache isn't on of them. I think I probably lurk the equality threads most (which is why I've usually got an opinion on them), and I can't say I've seen faceache in them all that much. No more than other posters, certainly less than the likes of Retford and Stoatie.

Having said all that. I have seen plenty of people criticising women, as much as men. If a woman is in the wrong posters will pick up on it. I have a feeling though your idea and my idea of a woman being in the wrong are completely different, and it's there thenproblem lies.
