What's on the menu tonight? pt 2

Postby malamute » Sun Sep 10, 2017 5:06 pm

Following on from my earlier post - an allotment holder turned up a little while ago with a trug full of runner beans, a cucumber, some courgettes and some black beans. She also brought a dish of lovely fresh raspberries which I will be eating very soon.

I took my mates out for a meal last night to Frankie & Johnnies Steakhouse I had the Rib eye steak. It was so big I couldn't finish it.
It was ok, but my favorite Steakhouse is Keens Steakhouse expensive but worth every penny.

That stuff with aubergines similar to lasagna (can't recall what it's called for some reason) and some bollocky foreign bread, tomato and olive infused or some such nonsense - got it cheap in Waitrose.

Yes, that was it. Wasn't that good as it turned out - bit too posh for my taste.

A Sausage Supper.

It's a Scottish delicacy and unless you've had one don't knock it, because it's very tasty.

It's battered sausage and chips, every chippie does them?
I like mine with curry sauce.
