If you knew what you were voting for can you please explain to me how we are going to deal with the new Irish situation?

Easy. We will come to a negotiated settlement in the context of the whole negotiation. Or the EU will not negotiate and risk violence again. You are totally uniformed as to the interconnected issues being negotiated or the context. Try and come to terms with being an impotent observer. Your chance to have your say has now passed. Your demands for information are laughable in that you want simple isolated issues simply explained when they cant be as the whole deal is under negotiation.

At the end there will be a deal or there wont. My advice- hedge.

David Davis, the Brexit secretary, has been threatened with legal action over his refusal to publish 50 secret studies commissioned on the impact of Brexit.

Lawyers acting for the Good Law Project, which is bringing the action jointly with the Green party MEP Molly Scott Cato, wrote to the Brexit department and Treasury on Thursday demanding the release of the documents. They said that failure to do so within 14 days would result in the issue of judicial review proceedings before the high court in an attempt to force their release.

The 50 studies into the impact of Brexit on different industries were commissioned earlier this year but the government has argued that publishing them could damage the UK’s negotiating position with Brussels.

Jolyon Maugham QC, who runs the GLP, said he would not bring the case without believing it had “good, serious prospects” of succeeding. He said he had received legal advice that the government may have a duty under common law to publish the studies into the potential impact on jobs and living standards.

“It seems to me the government’s reluctance to release these studies is born not of its ability to damage our negotiating position but what’s politically expedient,” he said.

'They' have likely come to the conclusion that despite their self delusions anti democracy remoaners arent capable of handling nuanced sensitive information let alone having the foggiest of the context of the debate and associated interconnections/intricacies. I know you dont like it but you need to come to terms with the countries democratic decision and let it work its course. The mastermind behind Vote Leave added that negotiations were in a "dire state" and the UK is close to messing up the talks completely.

Mr Cummings, the former special advisor to Michael Gove, predicted there would be an "inevitable inquiry" into why Brexit occurred, and said that "schoolchildren will shake their heads in disbelief that such characters could have had leading roles in government".

The explicit terms of the referendum were that it was merely advisory.

So, to a sensible government it was perfectly clear that any sort of vote that was not clear cut, say 60-40, was always going to be hugely divisive.

How that sort of division, uncertainty and lack of proper leadership was going to do anything but harm is anyone's guess. And causing harm is the last thing any government should do to its own people.... however, this is a Tory government.

And the people's vote was too close to make such momentous, unplanned decisions on.

The Leave side didn't win, any more than Maybot won the General election - and their squeals about democracy being on their side simply amplifies their growing realisation of this. They can see that for all their bluster, it's all a fool's errand and the people they support in this now (Gove, Johnson, Davis, May) will be gone soon as blame for all this is heaped on their shoulders. The cliff edge grows closer.
