The Lion Man

Image

The lion-headed figurine is the oldest-known zoomorphic (animal-shaped) sculpture in the world, and the oldest-known uncontested example of figurative art. It has been determined to be between 35,000 and 40,000 years old

Carved out of mammoth tusk, that's pretty hardcore especially at the time saber toothed tigers were an issue which ties into the subject of the artefact.

A lost Roman mosaic and technology images the 2000 year old mummy of a little girl in incredible detail - very poignant.
