You can because you are posting to the individual rather than the population and that level of participation works. I used to cringe when Obama would start his speeches with 'Hello (insert placename here)' because it meant that it would be a speech, a command if you will rather than the conversation that people want. That is why Twitter works in this case.

Anyone migrating to a country more civilised than their own should have certain skill sets, ones that are required by their new country - engineer, surgeon etc,

I don't feel one way or the other about him winning tbh
tho it was glorious to see the crooked Clinton Clan get their long overdue comeuppance

but his mad arsed tweeting is a bit troubling imo
I see why he used it to great effect during the campaign, but am a bit shocked hes carried on
hes the POTUS now FFS
and should be above such things, as some of what he tweets must be a nightmare for the legal eagles

It's really hard to measure the general reaction because there isn't one. Most folks are about where they were when he got elected. They really like him, or really hate him.

Personally, I think he is not very well informed about the word in general, and prone to saying some crazy shit.
