The trick is to choose the best items from the various Bargain shops. But meat is best from the big stores (Morrisons is the best of of the 'average' supermarkets in my opinion).

Morrisons chickens create more water than Tescos... imo

Overall I think their meat is the best - especially the beef but everyone has their favourites Poca.

I agree with that.
If you're buying supermarket meat Morrison is the best.
ASDA meat looks pale and anemic.
It's packaged all wrong.
Some of it looks like it never saw an animal.
Those pieces of pork with a combover of fat from another animal is really off putting.
I remember farm foods first shop in bangor.
The prices were unbelievable.
I had a farm at the time not so far away.
Couldn't believe how cheap meat products were.
I'm going back nearly 25 years here so things might be different now but ... almost every meat product had a huge ingredients list which had come from the petropharmachemical companies.
The really off putting thing for me was .... "and other meats" the other was ... "added protein."
You know you're eating utter rubbish when you see those two.

I went to a SHAKE SHACK for lunch to day. Took my two boy's, we had 2 cheese burgers 1 hot dog 3 fries and 3 shakes for $45. Not a bad price and the food was actually ok.

If that's US$ or AU$, it sounds rather expensive tbh :yikes:...unless of course the meals were humongous.
