Loads of strikes, sick man of Europe.

Had to laugh, saw this 'debate' on ITV this morning and people still think we ONLY trade with the EU.

Why can't we trade with Australia and 'Merica? Er we do ya dozy twonks, FFS.

Who said we only trade with Europe - I don't recall anyone saying that.

I do recall Donald Trump saying that he wanted to take American jobs back to America so I guess the Ford Factory, which was only here because it gave access to the Single Market, won't be needed to produce American cars to sell to America.

If we choose to support the car industries located here then we can. Once we have taken back control.

Brexit :cuppaT:

We know labour supporters are dimmer than your average voter. But the labour 'top team-lol-not exactly an enviable braintrust' must think the GBP are all as thick as a labour supporter with their non committed brexit position. Heres a summary (although no doubt flipped numerous times in the moments taken to post this).
John McDonnell: we must leave the single market to respect the referendum result

Tom Watson: we should stay in the single market and customs union permanently

Jon Ashworth, Jenny Chapman: we have to leave the single market

Diane Abbott: we should keep freedom of movement

Jeremy Corbyn, Keir Starmer: freedom of movement ends with Brexit

Barry Gardiner: staying in the customs union would be a disaster

Corbyn: whipped vote against single market and customs union membership

Starmer: we should stay in the single market and customs union (which means keeping free movement)

Thanks Guido.

David Davis admits UK Government has not done Brexit impact assessments for different economic sectors

The Cabinet minister also admitted there had been no impact assessment of leaving the EU customs union before the decision was taken

David Davis has admitted the UK Government has done no impact assessments for the implications of Brexit on sectors of the British economy. Despite having previously indicated that work had been undertaken, Mr Davis accepted in public that there is "no such systematic impact assessment". The Brexit Secretary also said no formal impact assessment had been undertaken into the effect of leaving the EU customs union before the Cabinet took a decision to withdraw.

The minister made the admissions during a grilling by the Commons Brexit Committee which had demanded the assessments were released by the Government after Mr Davis and other members of the Government had signalled they existed.

Now we know why David Davis threaten to resign over the Damien Green scandal.... he needs a way out

David Davis accused of 'total dereliction of duty' after he reveals Brexit impact assessments 'don't exist'

The Government is unable to show MPs Brexit impact assessments into different sectors of the UK economy because they “don’t exist”, David Davis has revealed.

The Brexit Secretary put himself on a collision course with furious MPs who accused him of a “total dereliction of duty” as he said that “no systematic impact assessment” had been undertaken by the Government.

All the lies he told about there being impact assessment and why he wouldnt reveal them.

The Tories continue to plumb the depths of gross incompetence :pmsl:
