Saw it some few months back, not bad.

For all action fantasy, try The Great Wall

Yes, I like the noises of being in the space ship. I would close my eyes and feel like I was in the ship with them. :gigglesnshit:

The new Planet of the Apes film is good and if you've followed the franchaise from the beginning you'll enjoy it, I won't give away the ending.

I'll continue on the fanatsy lines for the moment:

Kong: Skull Island is all action fun for adults and kids

Wonder Woman
is very watchable and works on the same lines as the first Captain America, bringing their story from it's origins until now.

You might laugh at this, The Power Rangers film is surprisingly good because you don't expect it to be - very much on the lines of Transformers with humour and great to watch with kids, as they all are.

Lastly The Mummy with Tom Cruise, I had better expectations for this but it didn't deliver for me. It was an ok watch but it never kept you rivetted.

The only thing I will say about it is There is a lot of 'Ape talk' and 'sign language' especially in the first part of the film - meaning that if Caesar doesn't repeat or explain what the others are saying, you haven't got a clue.

BUT! that might be because I watched an internet copy which could have come from any country, they may have subtitles for those bits in the UK released version.

Either way, it doesn't actually detract from the film that much and the more the film progresses the less it matters until it doen't matter at all by the last third.

Just thought I'd warn you.

Passengers, War for the Planet of the Apes, Wonder Woman - all good.

Avoid The Mummy unless you enjoy watching paint dry.

-------------------

Other Sky Movies:

Life - bit like Alien as I remember, not bad.

John Wick: Chapter 2 - a prospect if you enjoyed the first film as I did.

Logan - slightly unusual film for Marvel - not bad at all.

Some of you guys are talking about Sky on demand movies right? Some of the movies you mention are on Sky Demand?

The one's I know of that are actually on the Sky Movie Channels over the Christmas period are..

John Wick 2, 22nd December.
Beauty and the Beast, if you fancy it. Emma Watson stars. Christmas Day.
Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2, Boxing Day.
King Kong Skull Island, New Years Day.

I'll be recording 3 of the above 4.

I think in the other ones they did that and had subtitles, so most like they will on this one too. But am massive apes fan!
