I think you'll find that any vehicle not registered for dual fuel or bio fuel is illegal no matter how much you use. Which stands to reason, imagine if everyone with a diesel car used cooking oil or other substitutes to avoid the taxes, the loss of tax revenue to HMRC would be enormous.

On the red diesel thing, the dye they use is so powerful that even if you only use it once, it will stain the tank for life.

I looked, you're allowed to use 2499 litres a year before you have to declare it and pay duty https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ubstitutes

With most modern diesel cars nowadaays being high tech I wonder if damage would occur by using frying oil????

Biofuel issues can usually be addressed with filters and treated mixtures. There's probably a local bloke who could sort you out for far less than the pump price, I had a Merc 320e a few years ago and it ran fine on veggie oil as does my Pug today.

Major supermarket in Coventry where I had to go today, I filled up car for 116.90 per litre, 6p per litre cheaper.
Most supermarkets in Coventry arre lower prices for diesel.

I will shop around in future instead of being loyal to one station.

How much is diesel road fuel nearest to the?

It’s about £1,24 a litre around here , mind you near royal free hospital there’s a garage that sell it for £1,48 litre

IMHO it is time for motorists to demonstrate that enough is enough.

Block off main roads / important road junctions.

Protest at Buck House.

People will suffer and die if you block off important road junctions, starbold - I cannot support such violence.

Try it, and then try to stop a Fire Appliance smashing through your Merc while invalidating your insurance.

Except, you wouldn't actually do it would you? You'd egg on similarly challenged people but the bit of cunning in you would keep you right out of it.

Leading from the back...

Many a successful person whether military or in the private sector leads "from the back" , DIRECTING OPERATIONS, I thought similarly challenged people as yourself would NOT have known that, never mind eh, there is usually the likes of myself to show you the way DIRECTING successfully.

Watch and learn.

BTW, twould be nice if most of my posts were not derailed, I feel sure some here would like a sensible debate.

Thanks for agreeing.

You apparently want to lead a civil destruction force bent on causing chaos on our road infrastructure.

There's a word for that...
