My mum is quite a ridiculous person, I would have lost the will to live if it wasn’t for my daft wee mum, she’s the cheeriest person I’ve ever met. One of my sons is like that, he’s a smiley wee soul.

I’m a bit fed up today, it looks like it might rain. I was liking the snow being here.

As far as I know not too bad, will see them for longer this afternoon. Got both the boys here now, picked them up last night to give the girls a break and some time to themselves.

The boys have been as good as gold for me, they usually clash a bit when together but not so with me.

Thanks for asking.

Maybe they're picking up on the sad vibes, and sensing this might not be a good time to play up too much?

And you're welcome. Why wouldn't I ask...?

Back out of bed can't sleep to much discomfort.
I'm knackered as well.

Two babies and two weddings now, i hope there's no funerals.

My mum's ridiculous as well.

Do you know her latest "Let's embarrass my daughter in public" episode?

We were out and went to the toilet and she was trying to dry her hands and was complaining the dryer wasn't working.

She was standing with her hands over the bin.

Feeding the birds in this weather, is costing me more that it costs to fed Jack.

I fill my bird-feeder each morning with seeds and then the wee birds shoogle it about and the seeds drop to the ground and then all the pigeons arrive and eat it.

I got some suet/fruit pellets in Home Bargains, Vicks. The bluetits/great tits & sparrows love them. U might be better to buy a big bag of seed - they were selling them at £3.99 in B&M, though dunno if any left. Costs a fortune to keep them going in winter here too. I'm grateful when the babies come, as ur not supposed to feed them then, so that allows the mommy to teach them how to find food.

I didn't think to look in Home Bargains Mes, I'll do that tomorrow when I'm out.

I've got a wee bird house as well.

Two years ago blue tits used it but none used it last year.

I hoping some birds use it this year.

It was great watching them going in and out of it, building their nest.

I've got some sort of virus. Woke up at six and brushed my teeth noticing a rasping feel to my throat, the glands on my neck were like golfballs :ooer:

It's settled down now but I'm going to stay off tomorrow as well just in case.

The lymph nobes commonly swell when you have a cold or sore throat - nothing to worry about, but best take it easy.

Thanks people, no fever so far and I haven't (foolishly) had a jab this year despite work willing to contribute thirteen quid to it. I'll get one tomorrow, I really don't want to get flu again.
