There was a minutes applause before the game started as a mark of respect to Cyrille Regis who died last week.

Punkers lads had a good shot in the first half when Jordan Sinclair broke through, but his effort was cleared away.

Craig Gordon was also had to make a great save from a Paul McLean header.

Possession was 56% Celtic and 44% Brechin.

Shame Brechin couldn't pull of a shock, but they will have had a nice pay day.

We had a blast, outsang the Celtic even when we were 5-0 down. :canny:

A rather handy cheque of around £120,000 is winging its way to DD9...

Overdraft? What overdraft?

Celtic started like a Japanese bullet train and it was men against boys for the first ten minutes. After the 2nd goal went in our captain got the players into a quick huddle and we got really stuck in, closing down and came closest to scoring in the rest of the half. Came out dozing in the 2nd half and started to play properly when 4-0 down. Glaswegian fans of Celtic, Partick and Rangers were very kind and joking all day and evening. Some recoiled in shock when they heard the Sarf Lundon accent. :gigglesnshit:

Coach was so uncomfortable, hardly had any sleep up or down, took 3 days to catch up properly but was a blast.

Bought some tablet for my daughter.

Errr that's it. :yess:

Hi Punkers!! :Hiya:

Shame about the result and the bus but other than that i'm glad you had a nice day.

£120,000 will come in handy, maybe add to the squad or do up the stadium.

I can see why the Weegies were taken aback at your accent, trying all the way up from London.

I told my tad you were coming up for the game, he was impressed too.

I hope your daughter enjoyed the tablet, I've taken a notion for some myself now.

I'm not surprised Punkers, you were probably the only English chap inside Parkhead.

Rangers are off on another trip up the Highlands tomorrow to play Fraserburgh in our rearranged Scottish Cup tie.

The game was called of the last time because the Broch's park was covered in snow.

The SFA are to choose between Hampden and Murrayfield for the Scotland international teams games this Summer.

It was suggested that Ibrox and Parkhead could be used for international games and cup games, but that was rejected.

The other teams probably objected that the Gers and Celtic would have home advantage if the happened.
