It can be pretty difficult to sell shares when the value is plummeting because few are buying so you hold in there and hope there'll be anpturn.
In a massive crash you'd get pennies on the pound and that's when wise investors and gamblers are buying.
You don't buy when they are at their most expensive do you?
You don't sell when the price has collapsed do you?

I was expecting a crash November onwards.
I sold my shares late October.
I bought them back on Friday for 27% of what I sold them for.
The 8,000 shares I had are now 24,000 and I have £17,000 banked.
