I am allowed £1 per week pocket money, every week though, £2 at Chrismas.

The misgovernment can tell a lot from our banks.

They nobbled me 20 odd years ago on income tax, I had a row with them for 2 years and they dropped their investigation
A couple of years later they had another go at me and it is still ongoing, my tip is to keep very little in the regular banks in this country and buy gold to melt down eventually.
You cannot book certain things with cash

They want us to be cashless so they can control us more, they know too much now and have been chipping away for years.

Ir all started when nearly everyone had salaries/wages paid into a bamk.

BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU

Thought you were an ex Military Man, why would the Tax Man be interested in you, all grunts receive the same salary
were you caught "Moonlighting"

If we ever did get to the point where we are completely cashless, the banks would have to cease with charges for using cards as we would have no choice but to use them. I sure they’d still find a way to ding us. Charging the shops I mean.

The bank I use overseas charges me $5 a month service charge whether I use it or not. Bit cheeky I think. And transferring money is ridiculous. The person sending gets charged and so does the person receiving. For pressing a few buttons.

Could happen in the distant future.

I could warm to the idea of voice activated transactions, where you authorise payments vocally.
What if the machine could talk back tho, in a packed shop .... :yikes:
''Madame you want to buy this dress. Really??
Fk off, you couldn't afford the belt.''

The banks will do exactly the opposite and charge for every transaction.
You'll have no choice.
Are you from another world?

Distant future?
It's happening around you now.
India so far being forced to experiment by America and being very painful for those at the bottom of the pile.
Banks are disappearing fast.
Some towns here it is now impossible to get cash other than spending and asking for cash back.
Bit late then.

ps--i love the idea of cryptocurrency becoming truly mainstream(it is not yet so no one should fool themselves). But I love the idea of it.
But big banks arent just going to go away. If it threatens them they can just buy the whole thing out and strangle it. Its called new world order control.
Once they lose control of the currency the Soros's,the queen, the zuckerbergs, The bezos's ,The Rothchilds and the Junckers truly start losing control.
I doubt they let it happen. That is why i am wary of investing in cryptocurrency. I truly believe it is a great thing--But that it is gonna face a death struggle
and the odds arent in its favor.

I'm very suspicios about it.
Is it another scam in the long run.
Do the bankers already control it or will they tomorrow.
I see the possibility of lots of people putting into it and the whole thing crumbling and to late billions of people have lost their money.

I don't think the WHOLE of society will become cashless anytime soon Rollup, which is what the thread title is asking.

Cos we keep getting new coin designs and new polymer notes, in fact in 2020 new £20 plastic notes will be issued.
I doubt the govt would be making such a heavy investment in something it plans to phase out.
Granted, an increasing number of businesses do prefer cashless transactions.

You could be right. Its a great idea but its already getting coopted. Those who are 'investing' in it will likely be in for a rude awakening.
