Anyone trying to win money from animal cruelty should be sent to the I O W to live with Snookerballs
The horses are cruelly force to gallop, it is a wonder their hearts do not explode,

Don't know enough about horses to bet, have had a few nice wins though, more by luck than judgement.

Anyway, I went to the Cheltenham festival once in the mid 90's drove down from London. I didn't win anything and it was fucking freezing and windy and by the end I'd had enough and swore never to do it again.

In contrast, went to a flat race meeting in the summer at Sandown Park later that same year and it was a great day, helped by winning £385 or so on the penultimate race.

Never been racing anywhere since.

Summerville Boy goes in at 9/1.... Could be a VERY good day....

As for the comment above, if there are better treated animals in the world than racehorses, I have yet to hear of them. Best food, best vets, best digs, best personal attention at all times. And a horses instinct is to gallop.

Horse Racing can be quite exciting to watch, it is good that ITV have loads of Horse Racing now. I only bet on the Grand National though like millions of others.
