Drinking beer will kill you

Here we go again.
Five pints a week will take years off your life!
If that's true there must be something wrong with the beer.

At 13 years old and quite ill in Guys Hospital I was given a small can of Mackeson Stout everyday by the nurses and made to drink it.

Some of the old boys in the social clubs I’ve played in over the years drink 12 pints a night and they’re in their 80s!

40 Fags a night too. Some people will die young, some will die old. Luck of the draw I reckon...

Bernard Miles - he was the actor who created the famous Mermaid Theatre in London. You believed him too, until as a kid you tasted it.

I think it was given to me as an iron supplement or something like that, can't remember now.

1 year/2 years will be no big deal for most living until 85 instead of 87 for example, just wouldn't worry too many people enough. Quality of life may already be waning a fair bit anyway.

If they want to make people think more they'll have to come up with something like it'll take 10 years off your life.

Maybe they're getting worried that too many people are trying to escape the reality they are shaping for us.

I don't give a toss if it makes no sense to you. You're trying way too hard.
