Britain's Got Talent

Did anyone watch it?

I enjoyed 3 acts tonight. A magician and a young boy singer, but best of all was this fella.

Robert White performs comedy song about the Judges

I only watch it when it goes live. I tend to avoid audition shows unless it's The Voice.

My Sister and her family love every audition show going though, they go mad over it.

I want to see a magician do well.

I just thought it was very clever using the George Formby song as a connection to Microsoft windows. lol
Also it's pretty admirable the way he is managing to deal with suffering from Asperger's. :smilin:

I'm not that keen on magicians either, but they have certainly moved on nowadays to how they used to be.

I agree about the young boy, he was adorable.

Each year seems to be more and more scripted. And I loathe any acts with an extended back (sob) story. Pure manipulation.

I want to see the acts, no editing, no boring shit about how/why they’re there, good and bad, just show me. :smilin:

I’m liking this Japanese guy :gigglesnshit: but no way does he stand a chance at performing for the Queen.

I think we are all agreed about the sob story stuff. It just makes me cringe.

No sob story from this guy, just brilliantly funny.

Amy, the 16 year old opera singer... I think the nervousness was completely fake. She’s obviously been trained and even said she sings in musicals. I generally like BGT but not the bit where the producers mug us off.
