Why should we leave the EU

And that highlighted phrase pretty much sums up the utter stupidity of Brexit.

The idea that we can just turn around and leave is frighteningly simplistic, and economic suicide.

Who on Earth would ever trust our word again ? Sign business contracts with a country that reneges on contracts, agreements etc on a whim ?

Of course it's bloody complicated. A divorce between two people can be complicated - a 40 year relationship between 28 countries a thousand times more so.

I think that's rubbish, it's just that sometimes it's convenient for the government and others to make a situation look a lot more complicated than it is.

Immigration is another area where they do this.

In case you hadn't noticed, Brexit is about as inconvenient for the government as it could get.

They are being forced to own the whole sorry shambles, and it may well cost them power for a generation.

May and her party could well end up as the ones blamed for the breakup and impoverishment of the UK. A heavy responsibility to bear.

She's delaying delaying delaying.

Doing as little as possible and making few firm statements about anything so as not to lose support from any section of voters has been the modus operandi for British PMs since Blair.

Would love to see a conviction politician as PM again.

Taking a political job makes you a politician, and unless you are daft enough to do it for free, that makes you a paid, professional politician.

What people fail to comprehend is that politicians can't get all they want, they have to be pragmatic and compromise.

That's why sticking non-politicians into political posts rarely if ever works.

The use of non-political "czars" is a case in point. Anyone remember the drugs czar ? The housing czar ?

Never had a proper job in his life though has he?

I'd like to see a PM who has been successful in a previous career, someone with some much-needed common sense.

Why does a successful career on the fish counter in Tescos provide "some much-needed common sense".

Yes and we were lumbered with May because she isn't a conviction politician. Her idea of doing stuff for the good of the 95% hasn't happened yet.

Too right. May could have opted out of some Freedom of Movement rules in 2011.
She refused. She then blames New Labour for immigration despite her missing EVERY single immigration target.

Globalists, Zionists, Marxists and Islamists all want open borders and some form of world government, that's why we're screwed.

That's why May and Corbyn aren't actually that different, Corbyn's immigration policy is actually even more open, and they're both committed to political correctness, "progressivism" and identity politics.

There are more differences that usual between the parties since Corbyn was elected I will admit that.

From 1950 to now the Tories and Labour have been pretty much the same except for 1979-90 and 2015 to today, although today the difference is only between New Labour Mk2 centrist/ soft-left and hard-left, there's no real major right-wing party to choose from.

Marxists want open borders and support a system that is bad for workers? Got any evidence of this? Corbyn's immigration policy is better than the Tories as it removed the FoM rules May refuses to. It is more skills based immigration unlike May's. Labour and Tories have been very different until 1979, since then we have had Neo Liberalism and YOU still support the Tories and Neo Liberalism (Globalisation). You erroneously think Labour will allow more in when the opposite is true. Why do you support a party that is for globalisation, for the 5%?

No, they would remove more immigration restrictions, hardly good for the working classes as over-supply of labour keeps a cap on wages, makes union organising more difficult and creates job insecurity, Corbyn and his Union bosses have actually betrayed the people who pay their subs.

And I don't support the Tories or neoliberalism.

Conviction is nowhere near enough to be a PM
You need to be a leader
You need to get stuff done

I would have thought by now that you would have realised that Corbyn does nothing
Very shouty - yes
Very good at rabble rousing - yes

But

Where was he during the brexit referendum?
Why hasn't he still fixed the anti-semitism issue after 3 years as (so-called) leader?
Why has he dithered on Trident - an issue on which he is supposed to have conviction?
Why did he just hide away when those Russians were subject to attempted murder?

Conviction alone does not make a PM capable of leading an entire country
We definitely do not need a PM who hides behind the curtains every time a difficult issue needs to be dealt with.
