HOW MANY WILL RESIGN ??

HOW MANY WILL RESIGN ??

Postby Cannydc » Fri Jul 06, 2018 7:01 am

So, today's the day the Tories have their Brexit showdown.

Treeza will present a controversial, unworkable, unacceptable solution to the cabinet.

At least half a dozen won't accept it, period.

So, a simple question - how many will take a principled stand, refuse to accept collective responsibility, and resign ?

And how many will roll over, accept the unacceptable and keep their noses in the trough and their hands on the levers of power ??

Will Bojo resign ? Not a chance, IMHO. He will bluster, waffle and divert to avoid answering why.

As to the rest - we have heard fine words so now it's time to stand by them but I bet they don't. Canny's prediction = Zero cabinet resignations but several whips may quit. Greasy Mug will emerge as Chief Brexiteer because as a back bencher he can still speak out.

Oh, and the EU will not accept Treeza's plan because it's too like Switzerland's which they detest and is still in and out of courts after 27 YEARS !!

Brexishambles lives on !!!

Is this where everything falls apart?
Is this where Britain fall out of Europe with nothing?

Quite possibly.

If only we were younger to truly savour the chaos that will result.

Sadly, The Hawtrey Room is not named after Charles.

There is a sadness in that. As there is that Hattie Jacques is not PM.

It is a closed question, is the answer YES or NO? Or are those 2 options too difficult for you to choose?

The cabinet has reached a "collective" agreement on the basis of the UK's future relationship with the EU after Brexit, Theresa May has said.

Ministers have signed up to a plan to create a free trade area for industrial and agricultural goods with the bloc, based on a "common rule book".

They also backed a customs model No 10 said would be "business friendly".

The BBC's Laura Kuenssberg said the plan, agreed after a 12-hour meeting, would "anger many Tory Brexiteers". Greasy Smogg will be mad as hell lol...

So, no-one resigned, exactly as forecast. Bojo rolled over. Gove grimaced as he took it right up the shitter. Davis probably didn't bother turning up. And it will all go to hell in a handcart when Brussels gets to see it, and collectively piss themselves laughing,

Sorry Rocforbrains, it happened just as I thought it would, as has the entire Brexit process,

Wonder what Jaguar/Landrover and Airbus bosses are making of it.

Theresa May narrowly avoided a full-blown Cabinet walkout tonight as she finally revealed an "agreed" Brexit plan.

The panicking Prime Minister had feared mass resignations and was even drawing up an emergency reshuffle.

But despite weeks of threats to quit, Brexiteer Tories appeared to bottle it at a 12-hour Chequers showdown - which had been dubbed The Body Bag Summit.

Mrs May announced a big shift to a 'softer' Brexit after treating ministers to whisky-cured salmon and whisky barrel chips at her country retreat.

:haha: :haha: :haha: BrexShit aint happening!
