Yeah thanks Dean and well done you and Punk.

I had a purple patch midway through the group stages Tom but let my desire to see England win affect my judgement after that. I think I was subconciously working on the basis of who I'd like to win rather than being pragmatic.

Still I shouldn't be surprised with my final position, it mirrors my club team Arsenal, having a good season then ending up 4th. :smilin:

Congratulations Dean, Punk & BC (amazing surge at the end there to take 2nd place.)

I've throughly enjoyed taking part in this thread and hope we can do it again for the Euros perhaps? I think I suffered a little from the same weakness as TJ - letting my heart rule my head when it came to England. Will I do it again? Probably...

Enjoyed reading this thread but I opted out of participating in the actual predictions contest. Cos i know that even the 'experts' in the press & media get it very wrong, so what hope do ordinary folk have? Hence i did not volunteer to take part.

I remember the first footy predictions contest which Dean organised nine or ten years ago (not on this site). :yikes: :yikes: I took part in that one (gawwwd i feel old :pmsl: :pmsl: ) It was well organised and it's good to see a brand new set of posters enjoying the same guessing contest ten years later.
