As Dean has said Lady M - Oleksandr Usyk. :cuppaT:

I always remember my Grandad (RIP) telling me a as child that when/if the Iron Curtain fell that the athletes from those countries would take over the boxing world.

He was spot on.

Oh gawwd did you see Conor McGregor strutting around & preening himself with Putin, in front of all the cameras during the footy WC?
What is it with communist leaders & famous sportsmen?
It's the same with Kim Jun Un & Dennis Rodman.

Mind you i think Rodman's reasons are more sincere & altruistic.
McGrgeor probably just wants a slice of the lucrative east european /asian TV audience market for future games.

Texans are 25-1 for the Superbowl LIII. Might have a cheeky tenner.

With the players the England cricket team have they really should be doing better, today the batsmen were a joke.

Yeah - we seem to lack grit and as the first innings showed (yet again) Root's conversion rate from 50-100 is utterly appalling now.

Curran is a little diamond in the rough though - I hope he continues to impress because he could become our next all rounder - and we need someone to replace Anderson and Broad once they are gone.

I can't quite figure out what the issue is with the batting. We have flashes of sheer brilliance and some superb players. Any team with Cook, Root, Bairstow, Stokes and Buttler in it should be showing more, is it mental? Is it too many all-rounders not enough specialist batsmen, or too much one-day stuff with not enough emphasis on test cricket? It's hard to tell and perhaps a mixture of things but i do like the amount of class all-rounders we have...

Well done to the Engand cricket team because I didn't believe for one moment the bowlers would defend a lead of 193 against India but they did, but the batting needs consideration!

Yes, I do like to see some good batting by virile men that know how to toss their balls and put in a good innings...
