Battening down the hatches before The Purge begins, Belfast style. Deep joy for the next 24 hours.

Took in a bit of am-dram at the Pleasure Beach this afternoon. Lovely walk there and back with junior and stopped for a magnum on the way home. Mr Nucks is making fish n chips for tea and I’m enjoying a cold cider. Great day.

I have a metric fuck ton of holiday clothes to wash :bawlin: :bawlin:

Eeek! Disaster! I hope you manage to get that fixed soon.

I should be packing a bag... but don't seem to be getting around to it. :gigglesnshit:

Oooh where you off?

It couldn’t have happened at a worse time. I have a table FULL of sodding laundry.

Just off to London for a couple of nights, so I don't need much.

Is there someone close by who could let you use their machine until yours can be fixed?

I’m doing a load a day at my parents, but we pretty much go through a load a day so I’m keeping up and not catching up.

Oh that sounds lovely! I’ve only ever been to London once. It’s a bit intimidating.

But, you've been to Cuba (a pretty dodgy country in terms of political rights and civil liberties so I've read) and presumably thought it was OK.

That's interesting to know.

I'd put it the other way around.

Anyway. London is a piece of piss to travel around when you're armed with a travel card or Oyster. The frequencies of most tube and buses are eye popping if you are used to transport in a rural areas, i.e. you will rarely ever need a timetable. You are spoon fed about where you are going by visible destination boards and audio announcements.

The main problems with London are the costs of general living and housing, which particularly in the latter are extortionate.

I'll post a pic when I get it home.
But it's basically an estate car with attitude.
Originally targeted at the Volo Audi customer.

That boat behind your car looks like a Hunter.
