Wait until they're on their natural home of Blu-Ray/ DVD/ downloaded off the internet.

I think they could actually remake Jaws, would be a lot scarier with modern special effects, plus they left a load of stuff out of the novel they could put in the new one.

It's a bloody big shark and a Big Screen would seem the best idea

Great post earlier by the way.

The larger Shark in Meg (there are two apparently - a juvenile male and an adult female) is based on the jaws and teeth of the specimen above and as there is a (very rough) correlation between Meg teeth and body length (2.5 cm for every 3 metres) that monster could have been 22.5 metres long and isometric scaling from the estimated 114 tons for a 20 metre shark would give a weight of 142 tons!

Only possibly though.

They left my favourite bit out when I was a kid though, the restaurant scene with the fake scallops and underpants removal.

There was no internet back then so we only had hedge porn, Sven Hassel and Judy Blume (and that bit in Jaws).

Yeah I remember that bit.

The book was not really that great - the film did it a huge service.

Sorry Keys, don't know if you've already posted this?

But, this is phenomenal and really well caught at the last second by the cameraman!

That shark one was interesting. I went and found the whole story - amazing that the shark got out OK and the man was OK.
